When mixed with water, RDP re-forms a polymer film inside the cement mix, making the mortar more flexible, better bonded to tiles, concrete and other substrates, and more resistant to cracking and water. RDP is normally used together with Combizell HPMC in dry-mix mortar formulations.

What does RDP do in mortar and tile adhesive?
